Extra Zero wins the Sycamore Sprint (Grade 3) for Sean Tarry Racing

It was a super day for trainer Sean Tarry at Turffontein on Saturday, with Extra Zero winning the Grade 3 Sycamore Sprint over 1160 metres. The Summerhill-bred filly by Way West ran on under a lovely ride by Tshwaro Appie to clinch the fillies sprint feature for the day. Another Tarry trained horse, Give Me Five, ran on for fourth place.
Another notable run was that of Jackodore in the Grade 2 Senor Santa Handicap, who ran on well for second with stable companion Polar Moon running into the fourth spot.
The yard had places in both the Listed Derby Trial and the Oaks Trial with the three-year-olds, Peregrine and Final Score both running on well at the end to claim fourth place in their respective races.
Sean rounded off the great day with his own Terra Marianna winning the final race of the day.
On Sunday, at Clairwood, Gold Onyx ran second in the Listed Easter Handicap.
Currently, Sean is second on the trainers log behind reigning champ, Mike de Kock. Congratulations to the yard and to all the connections, we love to feed your champions!
Monday at Clairwood, Vuma trainer Mark Dixon had 2 winners in Head Of The House and Krackerjack Ace, Congratulations to the Dixon team and all the connections.
