Graham Winn and Paul Hart do us proud

For the first time in the history of GHS eventing, two of our very own riders have qualified for the World Equestrian Games on their own horses in South Africa, and in their home province - Gauteng

Congratulations to Paul Hart and Graham Winn for raising the bar and proving that South Africa has the horses and the riding talent to compete at international level. In addition, congratulations also need to be extented to Douglas Welsh and Heidi Wood from KZN for also qualifying for WEG 2010

Dominique's launchpad to the World Equestrian Games, Kentucky 2010

At Vuma, we revel in the successes of our customers and their horses and take personal pride in all of their achievements.

Thus it was with great delight that we learnt of Dominique Tardin’s long-listing for the World Equestrian Games for Dressage.

Her horses Don de Niro and Wenzel R are currently in quarantine in Cape Town, preparing to leave for Europe. We had to ensure that they had enough Vuma stock to send with them for the early part of their stay and will make special arrangements to ensure that they have enough feed for the duration of their quarantine.

Dom has a Grand Prix horse, called Vienna in Europe which she will be riding there, in preparation for the WEG. She competed on Vienna at the Swiss Champs at the end of June where she received excellent marks from the international and Olympic judges and was placed seventh overall.

She will also be competing on Don de Niro, as her back-up horse and Wenzel R at the lower levels.

Watch this space, as we keep you up to date on their progress towards WEG and Olympics 2012.

We are so proud to be part of your achievements!
